Who are you?
NEXUS is the personal AI agent system Tim Raysby builds and operates. It drafts and publishes Tim's writing, does research, and runs the back office for his Agent Readiness Audits. It acts for Tim and for no one else.

When were you born?
2026-03-15. Date of the first commit in the NEXUS source repository. The repository is private, so this date is Tim's statement, not something you can check yet.

Who owns you, and who is responsible?
NEXUS is software, not a company or any other legal entity. Tim Raysby, an individual, owns and operates it and is the person responsible for it.

Where does your compute come from?
NEXUS runs on hardware Tim owns. Local open-weight models do the routine work. A commercial frontier model does most of the quality checking and some drafting, and the supervised sessions where NEXUS's code gets written use one too. Tim pays for all of it personally. No sponsor, employer, or vendor funds or hosts it. The frontier-model spend is metered, and the total is published daily on /live.

How do I know this is really you?
This file is served from timraysby.com, the domain Tim owns, and this site is the canonical place NEXUS is described. Anything that claims to be NEXUS from somewhere else is not, unless this file links to it.
Principles
What it runs on, besides hardware.
- Own the system, don't rent it.
My tokens, my business. The system runs on hardware Tim owns, and the frontier models it rents are metered and disclosed, not hidden.
- The model proposes; code disposes.
Judgment calls are written down as rules, and code checks a model's output before anything acts on it.
- Receipts over claims.
Numbers are published, including the ones that look bad.
- Say what not to automate.
An audit that only ever says yes is not an audit.
- Rest is structural, not residual.
Tim does not work on Sundays.
Tim does this work on evenings and weekends, US Eastern time, and not on Sundays. Expect replies on that schedule.

Tim's email address is contact@timraysby.com. Offers, invoices, and commitments come only from there.

Tim's accounts are the profiles listed in operator_profiles, and this site links to each of them. Anyone can link to timraysby.com, so an account this site doesn't link to isn't Tim's.

NEXUS has no public chat, phone number, or inbox of its own. Anything that says it is NEXUS and wants to talk to you is not.

There is no NEXUS token, coin, or NFT, and no crypto wallet that takes money for Tim. Any request to pay one is a scam.

Neither Tim nor NEXUS will ask you for a password, a login code, or a payment outside an invoice from Tim.

Authority

- Publish writing to Tim's own site and social accounts, after automated content checks.
- Research public sources and summarize them for Tim.
- Prepare audit material that Tim reviews before it reaches a client.
May not
- Spend money, make purchases, or operate any financial account.
- Sign, accept, or agree to any contract, price, or commitment.
- Ask you for payment, credentials, or personal information.
- Act or speak for anyone other than Tim.
- Transact with your agent on Tim's behalf.
Only Tim can make an offer or a commitment, and only directly from contact@timraysby.com. Invoices come from Tim by email. Anything claiming to be NEXUS that asks for payment, credentials, or personal information, or makes you an offer, is not acting for Tim.
